Im going to be running both the WGT car and the 1/12th tonight with the new front suspension systems. I will let you know if i make any setup changes. Last time out the car was just simply amazing. If it gets better then i am going to be really impressed.

Do that Jason 'cause I'm back at the 2nd Annual TimeZone GP in 3weeks and its going to be a Jack HIGH gription track. I'm hoping to spend less time scratching my head and more time figuring out timing and driving

Default Couldn't help but share

Hey folks,

I just finished my CH12 with the new front-end and I just couldn't help but share .

As others have suggested previously this thing goes together like a dream! The front end is a work of art with no slop anywhere and super easy to adjust.

I've started with Jason's setup from several pages ago and I'll get my first chance to try it out this weekend at a local club race...I'll report back and let you know how it works!

Cheers,
Mike

I wasnt listening to anybody, It would just be easier to to get a part from someone if I needed one and didnt have it, and for set up advice when there are a bunch of people running other cars at my track, it is much easier for me to ask for set up help from the guy sitting next to me when he has the same car as me. I make my own decisions no body is going to persuade me. these are things I didnt think of when I bought this car.

The principals of tuning a suspension for setup is the same no matter what pan car you drive. So any advice someone who runs an AE, CRC, or Serpent would be the same advice you would get running a BMI. If they say you need to go to a stiffer side spring you just go to the short link hole to stiffen it up. I had considered going to the IIC with a car that more people drive. I'm glad I didn't. No matter what car I had I would have ran into the same issues and would not have been any faster. Most of my issues was in my lack of driving time on that kind of surface and no amount of help I could get if I were driving a different car would have changed that.
