Yeah, I spoke to him earlier. He was feeling really sick. Couldnt get out of bed. That really sucks. He was putting it all together quick. He just finished making some final adjustments to the cars and he was very confident. Then he got hit hard with the Flu. I feel for him. Its gotta suck being 2-3 hours from home and sick as a dog. Hope he feels better soon.

Well Raced today and wowowow

Thanks so much jason the car was 10x better and worked much better for me. Ill be stciking with my bmi for sure. Also no more magenta and pinks. Im going stick with Black Oranges/yellows. The car felt alot more free and i ran my best lap times today. was 1sec from gaining almost 3 laps from my old 43lap pace.

After i run through these orange jacos i got im try some yellows to add just a small bit more grip in the rear. Also going try probably bsr or crc since seems jaco edges wanna pull from rim edge and cause car to wanna snap around turns a lil. I glued them um but going still probably try another brand

Now i just gotta work with my driving and being able to run the same line over and over and not over drive the car.

Thanks so much.

Default Need some help with high-traction set up

Broke the CH12 out this weekend for the first time in a while. Had a great time, but I have always run parking lot type asphalt in the past and now I'm on very high traction black asphalt (indoors) and I need a set up to get going with! I don't get much time to practice and 12th is very hit-or-miss locally... so what I need is something to get me in the ballpark quickly. Tires, ride height, other basic settings, please advise! The car was good last time I ran it but I know it could be a lot better.

hey jason,

I was up at the hobby plex in ft Collins CO and saw that they had some new captive db12rr flex plate pivot balls that had copper colored Al pivot balls. These are parts I can't find on the BMI site, you have a new part number for these?

Thx

Darn...when I saw Jason had replied to the thread I was hoping it was to say the new car is ready for purchase! Oh well...I guess I will have to wait a bit longer.

Hello, i liked to convert my DB12RR to copperhead, i have a convert kit in the Shopping cart, but you can recomend some parts i need to buy, for example flex links, pivot balls, etc ...

I use the car in low grip asphalt tracks, i need the options for this conditions, and the BSR tyres work good in asphalt, or CRC tyres ?

Thanks, Luis C.

I've run a 12R5 a few times on high grip, indoor asphalt.
Didn't change the chassis setup much.
40mm Pink X2 front, 42mm Grey rear worked well, with JTG.
3mm ride height.
This track was fairly bumpy for 12th, so it needed more droop.
Hope that helps.
