For 17.5 blinky you need to run Jacko black fronts and yellow rears .. end of story. You will notice a big difference.

I forgot to mention that running those tires we suace the whole fronts and glue the sidewalls and I tend to run 1.5-2 deg of camber.

BSR makes them. I have them in stock if you want or you can see if your local hobby store has them. Double pink is in the natural rubber family so i would try to steer clear of them.

I do still have parts for those cars but some of the parts are out of stock. I can make them still but the turn around isnt immediate.

Alrite thanks i have some black and oranges ill get trued up and going rebuild the car using the suggestions from jason. Should 41mm 43mm be good size to start?

Also takin out my dx2 radio that was basic and going put in my new futaba 4pl that seems to have it all lol. Should i adjust expo or steering speed or any of that on it?

I would just set all of your expo to 0 and adjust if slightly if you like the way it feels. Tire size is good. I would run my fronts a little taller than that personally. I run mine at 1.700 rear and 1.650 front. In MM that is a tic under 42mm front and just a hair over 43mm rear.

Jason,
Are there Copperhead Conversions for both or just the 12?

I would take 5-6 rear pod plates and ~10 center pivots without hesitation. We still have many old cars running out there and a good second hand market is vital for survival of the class.

I will have Joe Sumasky running our new proto at the birds. I am assembing 1 now for myself that i will snap pics of as soon as i get it all together. I cant make it to Snowbirds at all this year so i wont even get to see it run. My wife is due any day now so i want to be there for seeing my 1st child enter the world.

Congrats on the impending arrival, but imo seeing the event happen is highly overated . After doing that twice I would have rather waited in the expectant fathers room passing out cigars like days past.
