12th scale is kind of dead in my area, but I look forward to getting this car on the track and having some fun. Been a while since I ran 12th scale. I am quite impressed with the speed that a 1S pack / 17.5 motor with boost can achieve. Painting body today hopefully some track time this weekend.

I was also wondering what is the largest wheel size that you would consider running on asphalt in a practice scenario. I see so many cars in pictures with the wheels shaved nearly to the rim - I hate to do that to a new set of tires.
I took a new set of Jacos down to 42.5 mm tonight - lot of rubber on the floor Seems like a decent starting point.

Thanks for any help on that screw bolt.

Do you live in Orange County ?

There is a track 30 mins away with a very healthy 12th scale crowd
This Sun is the 2nd round of the TQ Winter series.

Thank you Jason!

Good job on your finish. I like the paint job as well. Trying to figure out what and how my colors would work in that scheme.

The inline setup is just 1 of the configurations this allows. You can go mid car mount or rear mount also. I prefer mid mount with electronics behind the battery. I have been testing for a while and it is untouchable. There is much more to it than just the battery layout though. More details soon.

I run the short Car that has CRC lower arm and my own 0 caster block and AE upper arm in 17.5 Blinky, and tested both the short and medium in mod, I run the medium the most in mod, both have AE front end

Hey guys im trying find some spare 4/40 screws to have as spare for my CH but i cant seem to find any with the 1/16 hex head like the current kit screws have.

Anyone no any place that has them? I found customwork screw kit but they use a 1.5 mm hex not 1/16

Stormer stocks BMI:

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...s&pn=BMIDB6412

They have other sizes and also have them from Associated, CRC, and others. Just search for what you want on the home page.
