I think it is anyway however the car works great out of the box and the quality is second to none!
Good luck.
sorry I see you were asking about the new rear pod.
jason will have to answer that I know he is working on that now but I am not sure of a date?

Questions: Is the front end (NOT the new one) proprietary BMI or is it another mfg's front end? Approximately when will the new rear end be released....any actual pics?

Thanks!
It comes with the older AE front end...the one that was on the 12L4 not the current one on the 12R5. But the lower arms are replaced with the IRS lower arms which are more level than the old AE ones and are universal left and right so when you break one you don't end up with a lot of 1 side lower arms. BMI's machine ride height spacers for the front end go perfectly with it and make setting ride height a breeze and add a little more strength overall.

No word yet on when the new chassis conversion or new rear pod will be available. Jason is still testing some things out..I just hope I can build my new cars around Christmas

A question for you guys:

I'm really liking the rear-end design of the BMI. No springs to mess with. I'm looking to further simplify the front end as well (my testing/tuning time is VERY limited). Will the BMI accept the Speed Merchant "old school" front end as a bolt-on option? Thanks!

I won my first State title with BMI this weekend.
Drove half way across country to compete in South Australia state titles. CH12 was very consistent even track grip and temp changed heaps during race weekend.
Got concourse as well so it was very good weekend for me.

I Just got my CH12 almost ready for indoor and was wondering whats a good starting point for a gearing in 17.5 Blinky for a small indoor track is say 50x75 or so. i wanna kinda be close dont wanna fry a new revtech.

Also i went with magenta rears and dbl pink front on fresh crc carpet do you think im close on tires or should i go with softer rears? Im going use jack the gripper. Wanted try driving it loose and turning down the steering but dont want it to loose for my first time.

You going to be comming down to Middle River by any chance? 12th seems to be going strong there, I plan to get the CH 12thy out there soon hopefully.
