Not the start you were hoping for I'm sure; good luck on geting dialed in on the second run. Btw how many BMI cars have you guys seen there?

On the copperhead is the battery supposed to sit in the battery tray?
All the 1s batteries I have are aprox 1.5 mm wider than the tray.

Well finished my round 2 practice runs...feeling a bit rusty but getting the hang of it. Couple of setup changes I want to make should help the car for tomorrow.

yes that is the latest kit but you also have the option to buy it with the bmi double wishbone front end as well on the same site! Jason is coming out with a conversion kit and a new pod shortly.

Well I had a mixed day today. The CH10 was working great all day and I got some good runs in there. The CH12 I bent up 2 of the upper suspension mounts for the NFE, switched to the CRC front end I used to run and proceeded to snap a king pin and destroy 2 bearings. The sweeper on this track is very unforgiving. In the last run I had a wheel roll off the front right at the start (due to a bad bearing that didn't look bad), fixed that and got back out on the track. The car was feeling pretty good until I found another board and shifted the motor forward. Fortunately nothing broken and the car felt good so I feel better going into qualifying tomorrow. Had to do a tire change on the front as what I was running was way to aggressive.

Oddly enough the same tire setup that had way too much steering on my car had a lot of push on Frank's car so he is still trying to find a setup that works. He also bent up an upper suspension mount and had to switch back to the stock AE front end.

Robert' car with the NFE is looking pretty good and I think he is seated higher than the rest of us going into the qualifiers.

Eric's car is a tad bit on the aggressive side but it looks like a minor change to tire additive should do the trick.

For those watching on RCLive my cars are both white with red and pink flames...you'll recognize them as the look like ping pong balls on the track

They are pitting on the table right behind me and look way cooler than the pics I've seen...I haven't seen them run yet though.

Yea Eric's car always looks very aggressive on the track to me, good luck to all the BMI drivers this weekend.
