Seriously Jason, you should change the name from high traction conversion and call it the "CH12-Game Changer" Really excited for these options and looking forward to all the other cool stuff that comes along this year!!!

Thanks buddy. I am going to come up with some sort of name for it. We will see what i come up with. I am always open for suggestions so i will take yours into consideration. One thing for sure is, nothing will touch it on the track. Alright, i dont want to sound arrogant. I will stop. It is really that good though. Its hard to not be this confident.

With BL motors using the two screws on the bottom is not an issue. It works perfect. Hyperdrive has been doing it with their oval cars with no issues and a couple of other 12th scales use it too. makes setting gear mesh easier too.

Pod looks good Jason!

Thanks Eric. The other thing that people need to consider is that the majority of the load on the motor in an impact is rear to front load. Motor wants to keep moving forward.(Energy in motion tends to stay in motion). Considering you now have a wider mounting surface in that axis, it is actually stronger and resistant to bending the pod than before. A screw diameter is about .118 diameter. When vertically in line, is not very strong in for and aft direction, its more rigid in the vertical axis. Now you put the screws one behind the other and you effectively increased the for and aft mounting surface 5 times which will make the motor mount that much less prone to bending or tweaking.

The BMI front end uses flex plates instead of springs.

See the assembly here: http://www.bmiracing.com/Double%20Wi...structions.pdf

Would it be possible to put the letters BMI in the battery tray by setting the mill to do last pass so it said BMI instead of just circular pattern

Just a couple thousands would be noticeable and it would give it a classy look

Just curious

You'd only see it when the batteries we're out but kinda cool idea

Yes it is the Guy i got it from well know racer up here. Didnt like the flex plate front end cause the plates keep tweaking and ride height etc would change during run so he switched over to the 12r5 front end. Has hot bodies center shock 12r5 front end and rest is bmi.
