Default Tamiya F60

I saw it for the first time today in R/C Driver. Looks good and is a bit less than the F104 which is a plus. If it's a good seller I give it six weeks before it's discontinued like everything else at Tamiya.

I think what happens is they just make a certain number of them and then they use that production line to make something else. Then they make a minor change and give it a bonus name then re-release it. Rinse lather repeat.

The F60 is a F104. Your confusing Ferrari's name for the car (F60) that it is modeled after, and the Tamiya model name (F104).

the F60 is not the 104 Pro though...

I think maybe he left the "pro" out of his post

On this particular day, I ran 104 Pro foams up front, and Shimizu's in the rear.
For the most part I was glued yeah?

Yes, you're right about the F60 part. I do like having a cheaper version out there to maybe get some new blood on the track (no pun intended) I May check it out for the price though and, the new bodystyle is great. Right now it seems the 3racing F109 is the top dog in the Tamiya wheeled F1 cars. It's a rocket and very inexpensive. I'm still a Tamiya F1 fan. An updated F60 bodied F103 would be a welcome site.

I'm thinking Pit Shimizu's on F104 rims on the front and rear... sticky indoor asphalt

What pit tires?I looked on their website and they only list F1 tires for the 201.Are they the one's?
I wish we had a LHS that stocked F1 parts.Maybe they will if F1 racing takes off this summer on asphalt. It did well the last few weeks(after racers were exposed to f1 on the carpet),class went from 3 to 10 in two weeks. Good mix of 103 104 and 109.
I run a f109 and f103
