Please help with pit area planning
Hey guys I'm new to the forums and am amazed at all of the information on here.
I have a 12 x 22 space in the back of my garage that I'm looking to frame off to build an RC work area. I'd like to have sections to clean, build cars, and have my electric seperate from my nitro vehicles. I'd also like storage for my parts and vehicles of course. As well as a clean area to paint cars and learn how to airbrush. The big necessity is a computer area and lounge spot for when the frustrations get the best of me and my buddies.
Any suggestions would be great. I purchased 3 sheets of peg board today and constructed some shelving as well as pre-made shelving that I already own.
I'll get pics up asap once I get some direction and guidance.
What kind of lights are recommended. What about charging stations, storage solutions...anything that will help me out for this weekend.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance

When building you workbenches or tables (assuming you not using pre-fab plastic tables) dont make the mistake of building them to deep. The ideal depth is between 28" and 31" for most anyone.
I have built several benches in many work spaces over the years and I can assure you that it can get annoying having to streeeeetch out over your 36" deep workbench (that you thought was a good idea when you built it) just to grab something off the peg board or whatever.

Great Suggestion! I currently have some shelving that is set at half it's height and is 24" I have considered using that for the working area. Would the extra 4-7" inches be a good idea to do? I'd rather not go through the headache of re-doing this once it's done. I'm going to spend majority of today and possibly tomorrow getting started on this project.
