Default Hobbytech STR8e GT8 presentation

Hello from France,

some of US racers asked me about my car so I will present a very wellknown car in France and Europe

HobbyTech, the French brand produce a new specific chassis in the growing GT8e class

The price is under 690€ (in europe), you leave the store with a super deal!!

- a race chassis
- a nice body: Citroën DS3 / Mercedes DTM / Sport Proto
- a set of real rubber tyres
- a brushless combo: 150A controller with a 2.350kV motor
- a 2.4GHz transmitter with Savöx servo
- an AC/DC Li-XX charger
- a 4S/5.400mAh/40C hardcase battery

You only need 4 AA cells fort the transmitter and a spraycan of paint for the body!!!

The chassis is factory built and you only have the electronic to install.

The chassis I present is my race car so I will present also my tips.

The box is very big due to the body!

And under the body, there's a lot of things...

Is everything just thrown in the box like that? I'd be more than a little concerned getting it shipped to this side of the pond if thats the case....

I doubt its shipped like that he just put them all in the box to show what u get for the money .
Can you buy it in just roller chassis and body without all electronics . Im sure that cost almost as much as all electronics For 690€ ist not that good of adeal for USA ppl , thats est. $920usd + shipping cost . Can get a serpent cobra put same electronics and be same price . But if it works for you thats great . Looks like you have a blast with it .

It probably is. You look at the Tamiya kits that include a body - they just wedge everthing under there tight so it doesnt move around.

The Citroen DS3 body got lots talking in he rally circles, but it's yet another scale that doesn't fit with the rest of the exsting 1/8 rally cars.

Hello from France,

everything is under the body so nothing can move.

In france, the price for this RTR Package version is 649€.

You can also buy the chassis + the Citroen DS3WRC body + a set of tyres for only 349€.

It's a very good price.

The charger is AC/DC powered. All charging cords are included.
The output power is only 50W so it takes quite a long time to charge 4S batteries. But for beginner, it's a very good product!!

The battery is a 4S/5.400mAh/40C hard case.

The servo is the wellknown Savöx.

The motor is the Hobbytech XTronics 2.350kV.

A 15t mod1 steel pinion is in the box. It's a good choice for a short track with the battery in 40C.
