I know the feeling, I did exactly the same thing two weeks ago. Driving a mod 1/12th is loads of fun. The result, I'm in the process of selling my TC stuff and buy a bmi 1/12th.
Here's a break down of each,
CRC T-Fource - $225 ready to go. Damper tubes, lowered rear pod included.
AE L4 - $220 needs IRS lowered pod $40 (to run small tires) and T-Fource damper tube converstion if you want it, around $90 I think.
Bmi 1/12th - A little more $$ then L4 is what Jason said, so I'm guessing $230-$240 ready to go. Damper tubes, lowered rear pod, new AE front-end included.
I've driven the L4 and the Reflex 12, the R12 was very easy to drive, even with a 12t modified. But reflex 12 parts aren't usually available. The L4 was harder to drive but I think would be quicker with someone who could wheel it. The L4's damper setup means that you can't adjust side damping seperately from foward dampering which I dislike.
