Ok. I just found this thread, and need some help.
At my LHS we have some drag racing occasionally.
It is held indoors and is carpeted.
It is basically a go when the lights come off, 10 meters to the finish, and then brake. If you cant brake quick enough then there is a ramp then a wall to drive up (kinda like a half pipe at a skate park). Its totally fine if you go up the wall though and try for a flip or whatever. (Will not be doing this in a pan car)
I was wondering if there are any pan car chassis that will handle a 35 amp brushless system (Sensorless hobbywing 13 turn 3300kv) on a THREE cell lipo. (2200mah)
Currently I have it in my HBX quakewave (a 1/10 buggy) and it hits 60kmph on a 2 cell, so probably 85 kmph with the 3 cell.
I was thinking a pan car would be perfect because it is light, and can also be used for other things because it can actually go round a corner.
Basically, does anybody know of a cheapish chassis (does not have to be carbon fiber or be the quickest round a corner) that can handle a 13 turn brushless on 3 cell lipo power?
