Best Electric Motor?
There are alot of good motors available. From what I've read in the magazines, the EPIC Motorsports line are among the most powerful. This applies to modifieds as well as stockers. If I were to buy a new one I'd probably go with the Orion Revolution or the Trinity D5 or D6. The most powerful modified that I've ever ran is a Maxtec Shockwave 12T Double. This motor was made back in 1998, but is still as strong as anything that I've seen so far. Just my opinion!

30 runs before cutting the comm is what ive heard from my friends .. A reey kr is giong to be cut like every 3rd run or something like that ..

From what I've read. The enduro brushes last 10- 30 runs but you true the comm every few runs. The sprint brushes last 2-6 runs(I think) and you'll have to true more often. I've heard of people running enduro brushes and just running higher timing.

The Lrp fusion is based off a reedy teardown. I think they ahve the Reedy Ti (2 magnet, standup brushes, and standard size com) and the Reedy Kr teardown (4 magnet, big com, and laydown brushes. They just wind their own armature I think...
The Reedy Kr is an awesome motor. Very smooth and a super broad and useable powerband. They start to pull really hard mid-high rpm.
The Orion Core is an ok motor. It's not the greatest but it;s no slack either. It's very smooth, and easy to drive. It just doesn't feel as fast as a Kr. Awesome magents though. It's very consistant from the beginning of the run till the end.
The Hudy Modified is a motor that is based off the old Orion Chrome can. Still a good motor, but it;s probably better to get one fo the motors with the new technology.
