Default KO Propo Helios or Futaba 3PK

Hi fellow RC mates,

It's a tough one to choose between the Helios and 3PK. Helios seems to have a much better finishing touch n quality feel, whereas the 3PK does'nt seems to have the quality finishing touch. However the 3PK is function packed.......(even has the failsafe together with the package)

ANy comments to help me with my choice.....am using it for both EPS n GPs cars.

Thanks !

I owned 3pk and m8 before and now Helios. I'm KO for life.

Only 3pk PCM have failsafe, but no HRS.

Best quality. I drive better with it. I like the menu better than 3pk, even though the LCD screen is smaller. Tech support is the best.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments!

Any suggestion for a good steering servo and a throttle servo to go with the Helios?

Am going to run a 1/10 GP car.

I'm currently using a Futaba 3PK with KO Propo 2344 servos.
I would have bought the Helios, but I prefer to use PCM.
I've been running the 2344 servos for both my steering and throttle.
Some people might think it's a bit much to use it on the throttle.

Mmhh...was thinking of using futaba S9451 digital servo for the steering and futaba standard servo for the throttle with the HELIOS.

Any comments ?? Are they compatible ??

Does any one know of a website with a review of the Futaba 3PK? reviews of the Helios would be handy too.

Thanks.

I you want to use the high response systems in the Helios, you'll have to check wich servos work with which response modes.... I believe you need digital servos for the faster modes, but I'm not an expert in this...
