speaking of old school. i've been trying to hunt down a new in box HPI Pro 2. any chance of that car making a comeback .
i hope they've been following the trend towards brushless motor/controllers. its cool enough they will be offering their line of speed controllers again, but it'd be very cool if they already have a compact brushless setup in development. cuz as of right now, those controller sizes are too big for most people's liking.

Funky! that's definitely cool news. I'm sure they'll get plenty of orders and sales from old school racers like me I started with a BC67, had a BC112A and C that I bought used, plus a few of their speedos (still have the Tekin Titan). Just about everything was bulletproof.
I wonder if they'll get Masami back as a driver? haha
Well that is very cool anyway...hopefully they won't just rehash and repackage old product (I doubt they will, that would be suicide) and have some fresh ideas and designs ready to go into production.

Well this weekend I was running a Tekin G-10 I bought used in mod touring. I ran a 11x3 and man that speedo was awesome. Just like I remember them working years ago. I programmed some setups I liked witht he drag brakes and few other things and the thing was dialed. That speedo is still one of the best even by todays standards. Only the size might be a problem for some but in my Pro4 not a problem. It is so nice to run them again. It is still super efficient to as I was coming back with 75 plus seconds of time left on my pack after 5 minutes and a warmup lap.

If you think about it, G10s are not that big because you don't have to install external barrel capacitors unless you want to.

Would could advise the different between Tekin g-10 and Yokomo Mstar Touring v-spec??
I have been once looking on them and found that the FETS used by Yokomo is smaller, lighter, and more in number. Does the Yokomo's ESC is so call the Tekin g10 pro?
Pls. help help!

Saw this thread on the home page, but I'm not a TC guy...
I'm running my G12 in my T3 and I had two G10's that stopped working only because of my stupidity; I drove through a puddle and fried both of em!

I wanted to share a testing feel after using the Tekin G-10 Pro. I liked the design such as build-in 32amp schottky diode, no need big cap, drop fuse.
After a few run, I can say it is easy to drive, long run time, high power output until no energy that not same some ESC slow run in the last few
min.

What type of vehicle and motor were you using? Did the ESC run fairly cool under the circumstances? Did it have smooth throttle control? Thanks for any replies!
