This is good.

Looking fwd to another awesome carpet season running Solaris med. premounts.
+1 - I start each year's carpet season using the the previous season's last set. Grip was still very good, with lap times almost identical to fresh tires. This tire has a lot of strong points, but consistency with every batch is probably the most notable.

Ran the Solaris Mediums yesterday.

10+ battery packs, 1 set of tires, no issues!

We had the opportunity to try the new Solaris Mediums on carpet.
These tires worked great!!!!
Very fast and consistant!!!
We feel they are the best tires out there hands down.

Thanks E.J and Vince for giving us the chance to try them!

Thanks Mike

How about on the clock? Compared to the old M, Jacos or Sweeps?

And will these new tires have a new model# or will they be phased in using the old model#?

faster than old Mediums for sure.
didn't run jacos or sweeps -- but they remind me of the sweep 32s.

i think the header card is different --- but i don't have any headers to share the info.

What temp range are the mediums good for? I'm running on medium grip carpet at standard room temp say 73f.

Are you guys going to offer the softs as well?

I normally run 28 sorex on this particular track. What's a good equivalent?

solaris medium is like a jaco blue or sweep true blue ---- all about 32.

there aren't many tires that are like a sorex 28...

Hey Mike/Al,
Curious, since Mike says they are like the Sweeps, were these new tires on the verge of having the car traction roll like the Sweeps? Did you have to glue the sidewalls?

I have preferred running Solaris in the past, and was just wondering if I would have to change the car's setup or tire prep.

thanks for the input.
