These tires are diffenitly (sp) the best spec tire on asphalt. Ran them at the Topgun and the Regional and had nothing but great success with them. By far a good tire for the price and the run time is incredible on them.

E.J. mentioned that they are working on a new rim that will flex more rather than crack. I would expect to see some pics and info in the near future.

Cool good traction

I tried the Salaris at the Aliso track and a parking lot race and the tires did perform better with warmer weather and traction compound. Still good wear so far. I'm not having any problems with the rims but I'm willing to try the spoke rims.
I got the premounts from the KO, I paid $40 on that weekend, of coarse now they are selling for $30!

Great to read some very positive feedback!

Glue job is great. Out of all the races, not one glue job problem.

Tires at the KO should have been $30!! Also, leading up to the KO tires were $25/set if you were pre-registerd for the event.

E.J.
Since you're in SF and you have Norcal listed, I suspect they sell them. I live south of you in Pacifica.

The tires are good, but the dish aren't. I'm holding off on buying more of these until the new rims come out.

I bought one set for $25 and practiced with it for 2 days without any problems. Bought the race set for $30 the day of the KO Race as E.J. mentioned. They worked fine. Right now I have tires that were given to me and still run them.

Id like to add that even though we have not seen these tires as a "spec" tire for a major carpet race here in the US, they work very well on carpet.

I repeat THESE TIRES WORK VERY WELL ON CARPET! I have only testes the "H" compound and I here the softer compounds are looking very promising for the rug so I can hardly wait to get some of them to try.
