bought it new-in-box from a guy on rc10talk.com. He's a member here too, but i forget his screen name. Got a good deal on it, but I can't let it sit here in the box... gonna build it and make it a shelf queen.

Ahhh, I see. I use to have the SST 2000, 99' Pro, Axis 2 and Mission. One car I absolutely loved was the Axis 2. I would love to get my hands on a new kit and race it again, it would be interesting to see how well it would stack up the new sedans.

I had a SST2000, raced it at Superior Hobby in Florida, late 90's. At the time touring cars were the biggest thing going. I met Robin Schumacher, he helped me work out some bugs in my car while he was in town to race. 1997 to 2006 Schumacher touring cars won 10 USA national titles. Good memories. I still have the car, almost like new. If anyone cares I will post some pix

the 99 and the Axis were epic cars, had my best results with these cars even though they were mostly ran using second hand equipment back in the day
