Default Battery wires made contact, battery ruined or damaged?

I accidentally had the red/black wires make contact and it sparked, it made contact about 2 times for about half a second to maybe a second at most (doubt it). It's the 3000mah NIMH battery came with my 4X4 Slash rtr. Is it ruined or weakened? Never used it, brand new, I was just switching it to Deans.

That shouldn't have done much if any damage at all to the NiMh battery.

no problem..... it wont weaken the battery power nor battery capacity.

btw, becareful with esc's positive & negative.... wrong polarity could burn the esc's electronics.
