Full qualifying results are coming shortly. JLap issues (what else). I really need to sleep or eat (have done neither lately) but I'll stick it out here until I get the stuff.
Baker held TQ in Modified 12th, Lemieux in Modified TC, I can't recall the rest.

Here are the standings. Sorry for the crappy format, it's the best I can do. I really should stop blaming JLap for everything, but man, that is one crappy looking text file.
Anyway, here it is. I'm leaving the track; webcam is off, it will be back up tomorrow.
Thanks everybody!

Looks like we could have four (maybe five) different manufacturers in the Touring Mod Main. Youve got AE, Losi, XRAY and Yokomo in there now, and youve got David Joor driving the HPI just two points out after two rounds. This is going to make for very interesting racing tomorrow

go Peter Robinson!!!!!
My teamate has a 3rd so far in stock sedan......only 2 seconds behind Lopez.....Alex better pick it up......

At the risk of bursting bubbles, David is not running his HPI, he switched back to his TC3. There are no HPI cars in mod that I'm aware of, and of the two that I knew of in stock, one broke and the owner had no parts so they switched, and the other I'm not sure about.
My unwanted two cents: HPI needs to field a team at these events. However, Japan has long been their testing/proving ground, so I'm not surprised... but it's tough to show up at a huge event and be totally on your own.

Bubble has been burst... ouchie
Oh well... TC3 it is then...
I agree totally on the HPI team Shane, they really need some guys out there fielding more than just 1 car...

Yea...
It's not really a dig on HPI though, because the business side of it is questionable. It's tough -- I think -- to take the expenses of a race team and actually see a boost in sales on paper. When you think about the flights, hotels, entry fees, food, salaries (in some cases) of team members and so on, it adds up.
Then again, I walk through the pits at any big race and it's a Losi and Associated show. Nowadays Xray and Schumacher as well, and Yokomo a bit; they all been well represented lately. Then a few Corally cars and maybe an HPI here or there and so on and so forth.
But when you look at guys like myself who aren't really part of any race team, we run the AE and Losi cars more than anything because we know there will be these fast factory guys at the race who can help us out with stuff.
So would it help HPI? I think it would. And I think they'd have no problem finding some top guys willing to run for them, especially now that they've released a competitive car.

Try pushing the results through an Excel file. It should break it down in columns and rows for you. I don't have Excel on this computer, but when I get home I'll give it a try.
