What is the size of set screw using on motor pinion? thanks

Most older ones are 4-40 (uses a .050 wrench). Most newer ones I believe are 5-40.

If it is metric screws, you need 3mm x 3mm set screw (or sometimes called m3 set screw)... it uses a 1.5mm hex screw driver.

Oops, should have mentioned that. Every pinion I have ever used was made in America but of course, foreign pinions will use metric.
