Honestly speaking... you don't need any branding to sell an RC car body.

Protoform can always just make a new body shaped like the stratus without the details associated with the real car and just call it Touring Body Model No. 1 etc...

I doubt DC would be dumb enough to say it has a copyright on the shape of the body!

yea it performs well too, itd be differant if it was a dog of a shell and they didnt want thier name associated with an inferior product

hpi's new stratus aero 2 has the same lines and is a vast inprovement over the old ugly strat they had, it may be one of our only choices now

Well, better brake out my RTR TC3 stratus body

I am actually going to be running a very different body than the norm this wednesday, running the HPI Subaru imprezza. Something different than the norm for a change.

i always thought it would be cool to sink an impreza body (190mm) and run it onroad style. especially if it were painted like the white/red/silver cusco subaru touring car.

i would bet that it would look too tall. someone had an hpi astra out this weekend, and it looked, well, ...not good.

props to creativity, though.
