I just bought some new tires for indoor carpet. What needs to be done to get these "broken in". I was going to sauce them up a few times, but anything else? Does the small ridge down the center of the tire from the molding need to be removed? Any help or tricks are great. Thanks in advance.

This was very good info. I especially liked the usage of a brushed motor, pinion gear and lower power to rotate the tire. I previously used my Hudy tire truer but I must admit the rotational speed made the tire balloon out and did not allow the tire to rotate true so the seem did not get totally removed equally around the tire. Thanks.

I also keep my tires in a ziploc bag when I'm not racing and every few day I put traction compound on them. Softens them up nicely
