Electrical questions from newbe
I have just bought LRP SXX TC spec speedo, and the LRP V12 4.5T engine I will use on my T3. It's one cable from the speedo who should be connected to the reciever. Will this cable supply power to the reciever, in addition to send speed signal to the speed controler? I will use 7.2V LIPO, will the speedo send out 6V to the reciever, or do I need a sepearate battery for the reciever ??
Do I need to order some additional conectors/plug's etc for connecting the Lipo battery to the Speedo? I can see it's some cables out of the speedo, 2 wires will go to the battery and 3 to the engine. The cables dont have any connectors.
Can some one make a link to what I need, so I dont order wrong stuff.
Thanks

Harry pretty much covered everything so just to clarify:
Lipo batteries usually come with a connector. It is usually either a female Deans plug (two wires coming out of the pack attached to a red connector) or the pack will have no wires, just two female banana jacks in the top.
For the Deans, you will just need a male Deans plug to solder to the speedo's battery wires. Make SURE to get the polarity right.
For the banana (also called Bullet) jacks, you will need two male jacks to solder to the wires.
I think some packs are coming with Traxxas connectors now too. Same thing, just a different connector.
Solder the motor wires straight to the motor.
