I forgot one important thing... do the grip test ! A radio should feel good, also for long time use.

No one even come close to 3PK if you can afford it....but then if not......3PD is my next choice for budget radio. You can get a 3PK on e-bay for around 215 with HRS receiver (from HK).....

Get an XS3, 240.00, decent servos, RX costs a fefty 80.00 though, that makes up for all the crystals you don't have to buy, the RX is also pritty heavy, IMO.
