AWESOME!

Kevin Kane and Steve Marker make the A Main in 13.5 Rubber at the Novak TC Champs!!

I believe they are 7th and 10th.

===

Derek England had an awesome 4th round run which had him about 4-5th overall. I think he had some badluck around 4 minutes and DNF'd.

Great runs guys!!

Yeah. thats what i ran last time and finished 1st. May have finished second if 1 didnt break but...

Even then the car seemed to roll too much. I couldnt gun it heading into the straight away without feathuring. I'll try again tomorrow and see what happens. Maybe there is small difference in setup that I didnt notice. I'll go over it again.

Anyone know approximately what spring rate an HPI pink is? I'm going to practice some rubber tire carpet tomorrow (first time since IIC 2005) and I'm trying to get a setup on the car.

The HPI pinks are about 18#s
They feel like a linear equiv to the Schuie blues.
I have them on the front of my rubber/carpet car as I speak!

did I read right...22mm wide tires? If that is right then you are running some really old technology tires. No one has made a new 22mm tire since 1998.

Save yourself a lot of greif and get some new current 24mm tires like Take Off CS27 or RP30 premounts, Sorex 36R Premounts or Jaco Green Premounts.

The last non premount race I attended (2001 Novak Race) Schumacher spent $2500 on tires and inserts and we ended up using none of them. There were new tires and inserts released at the race that were better than what we showed up with. We ended up getting some from a friend on Team Yokomo.

Premounts saved touring car racing.

I agree with Adrian...premounts are the only way to go...Sorex 36 or takeoff 27 are both great combos...they both have a very wide temp band ...if you are in a relativly warm climate I would suggest sorex 36...a cooler climate takeoff 27

Ran my Mi3 for the 2nd time on carpet last night (rubber tire). Qualified 8th finished 6th. Going to make a couple changes for Friday's practice.
Next week is the Full Throttle Carpet Challenge in Maryland and the following weekend the Carpet Chiller in New York. Can't wait.
Kling's foam car looked good last night.

Yeah, your car look really good Steve. You definately held your own.

My Foam car is money, so now I'll consentrate on rubber. I have another Mi3 on its way and it should be here in time for the Full Throttle race. I'll start with the Vegas set up we all ran out there and tweek from there
