Not everyone has access to a great hobbyshop either. I'm fortunate my shop owner will order from anyplace if I need something because he has know me for years and if I order something special I will pay for it whether I still need it or not.

IMO great hobbyshops are hard to find. We have lots of franchise shops but that don't mean they are good and to be honest I find most of the franchise places don't have people that know about alot of the hobbies they sell.
This is spot on! As a manufacture/dist you can only ask so many times before you just need to do it yourself! In the last few years almost every manufacture has added direct sales. In the next 5 years there won't be anymore mom & pop stores because the hobby is becoming mainstream. Just like Walmart took over (killed the mom & pop stores) you will see major franchises do the same in this hooby (much smaller scale of course).

The RTR cars have been the life and death of this hooby as we know it

Truly a scary time for the true hobbiest & racer!

With the same support to them as u would to a person who calls. this is not to bash you but some hobby shops will lose faith in manufactures when they under cut them
so then you get your high velocity stuff from straight from randy or thru your hobby shop?

Yes the first and so far only thing i have gotten from randy is 2 practice packs directly that he had left over. And because he was honest an said they were practice only not good enough to push on a shop i took them as they were. Lately i have started running bl and lipo. But have i been in my Lhs asking them to stock Randy's stuff your answer is yes also. please dont try to make me look like I'm wrong here. I'm stating a very good suggestion that you are foolish to disagree with i said to maybe ask to contact the LHS to promote the product

I believe all Schumacher hinge pins have always been 1/8" (=3,175mm), at least on the touring cars. Mi3 is no different.

Josh the setup I have for Logan should be good - either at Logan or at Sunshine Coast as a starting point. You can get it here. I would definitely stick with the spool when you first start running stock.

I will be at the Sunshine Coast on the Sunday of racing and happy to take a look at your car with you.

Does anyone have a link to photo's of their Mi3 with the extra mounting hole for the aerial, one where they have added the mount behind the servo instead of in front.

I have tried searching this forum but couldn't find it.

Thanks

The bumpers are different. You can always make one fit but just order the specific one for the car and it will fit perfect. I always use PW bumpers on my cars. A nice cheap insurance policy to keep from breaking as many parts.
