hey guys my top deck has got a slight twist in it is there any way to fix it so my chassis isnt tweaked? dont have the money for a new topdeck thats all?
my car took a hit last night and is seriouslty tweaked so ive dissasembled it and am checking all the hinge pins is there anything that would cause a car to wander??
also which should u run tighter front or rear diff on medium grip aphsalt?? some one out there reckons rear diff should be slightly looser?
any way if ya have any other idea's let me know

I always thought that the front diff should be tighter than the rear.

just take the top deck off the car, twist it back to make it straight and check it on a flat surface.this is common with carbon fiber.it doesnt fully return to flat after it is overextended.its no big deal though.once you twist it back it will be fine.i do this all the time.wait,i think i just admitted to crashing alot.

Default Lower Centre of Gravity

Excuse me guys, maybe someone can help me. I have just got an EC and raced it yesterday for the first time. I have to admit I was very impressed right away. A lot more steering than the Yokomo BD. Unfortunately to bad weather we were not able to race today - would have been very interesting to see how i would have got on. However at the track I have seen someone else driving the EC. As I have built the car up to spec - like Teemus I have added the 2 mm graphite below the diff mounts. Does anyone of you know how it effects the cars handling if you remove the 2mm below the diff mounts as well as the 2 mm graphite parts below the upper deck to lower the CG?

Would be a great deal if someone had an answer!

Best regards from Austria,

If I'm not mistaken, removing the spacers will increase traction on that end of the car.But if your car is running well, then I would'nt change anything

hey guys, just wondering if i could get some help with a question...i bought a MI2 a couple months back..just ran yesterday for 1st time and was fairly pleased with the set up i got it with, but i want to tinker with it a bit more to better suit my driving needs..

the shocks i got are a bit "shot" well i did read that on the MI2 the shock collar would not stay set on the threaded bodies when adjusted, so the previous owners CA glued them making it impossible to make any adjustments..my question is will any other companies shocks fit on the MI2? or am i better off just replacing them with schumacher MI2 ec ones?

Have you got the standard shock towers or the lower carpet ones? If you have the lower carpet shock towers get the Tamiya TRF shocks they work wonders on the Mi2.

go the Mi2 E.C shocks, allot of work went into these and it shows. Having previously owned TRF shocks for my Mi2, I prefer the new Schu shocks they have some subtle improvements.

If Gavin thinks the EC shocks are better I would probably go for them, he knows his stuff when it comes to the Mi2 and Mi2EC.

just to clarify for ya mate the lower shock tower have a little groove in the underside of them for balancind if they dont have that ur looking at new shock towers and shocks but it is worth it as thats what we all run/ran
trf are great shocks but i think gavin knows better than me so stick with the ec shocks
