Do you mean the main chassis?

I think it's partly due to the two different chassis thicknesses between carpet and rubber.
I also believe it helps prevent the screws from getting ripped up through the chassis in a severe crash, it also means the screw holes have the bare minimum of clearance which will HELP prevent tweak.

I'm just about done building my 1st Shuie Mi2. All I can say is WOW. It is the smoothest drivetran I have ever had. Can't wait to get it on the track next week.

WYD, did you put the ceramic's in the car yet? I was just wondering if you noticed a big difference because of how free the car already is. I can tell you now that my car would put my TC4 to the test and that had ceramics in it.

I didn't do any work on my car since last weeks racing. I might work on it tonight some but I doubt it. I want to finish checking all my packs out and then I will work on the car.

I will be 100% by the ORL2 race. Only thing I won't be up to speed on all my MM stuff.

Its for the US Reedy Sedan Race Of Champions. There is a sticky thread in the on road forum. www.liverc.com should have live coverage tomorrow. There are having web connection difficulty at the track so today was a bust for live coverage.

I plan on finishing the details on the car at track. No sense in setting it up to run in 70 degree air conditioned weather when it could be 90 out by then. I learned that lesson along time ago in offroad.

I'm going with my basic setup I ran last weekend at Frederick. Everything that seems to work their works at other tracks with minimal changes but normally nothing major. It is really hard to tell how good the T&L track will be next weekend since I doubt they have any type of touring turnout this year.
