On the front of my Mi2 with a carpet tower and the TRF's I cut a small length of the rod with a dremel, but try the advice the others offered first then see if you need to go that route.... oh yeah spring wise I went AE silver -14.5- all the way around and the car feels good. I dont really like having different springs unless they're close in rating. On past cars I tried all sorts of combinations but the car always felt more right when the springs were the same or at least real close f/r. Maybe put the silvers in the rear keep the blues up front.

Another great night of racing on my Schumacher. Finished 4th in the A tonight. Very happy with that because of the strong competiton. Latif from Trinity had his MI2 really good and finished 2nd tonight. Jeff Cuffs won and Craig Xavier was 3rd. Nice night for the Schumacher EC.

Man I really like this car as it works for me. Ran the fastest time I ever ran with my new EC.

Many more things to try. Biggest thing today was to take out the spool and use the one way. Car turned in a little harder than the spool did for me which really helped out. Next weekend I will mess with the rear roll centers.

It was a great day for me as well,I TQ'ed and won, brandon melton was 2nd ,and anthony saunders 3rd. I swaped the stock 14lb springs for assosiated 14lb spring ,the stock white springs seem to be too soft through out the travel of the spring, the assosiated springs get progressivly stiffer, which really help the car maintain great taction but still be nimble

If anyone tries changing the springs let me know what you think

Im running Xray Yellows. AE Silvers are what Teemu was running last I checked. I have a set of Silvers to try and I still waiting for my second set of Schuie Whites to try them as well. I know from past experiences that I usually end up with Xray springs on my cars

i switched out the stock white springs with some white xray springs which are a couple of pounds heavier than stock which made my car seem a little steadier if any one know any other tricks or tips for the car let me know

First night on the car last night. And I gotta say I was very impressed. The EC has really come a long way from the original MI2. Ran spec 19t. Ended up Tqing by a lap. Ran some extremely fast laps. I figured out that I really need to get some new motors though. In the main I guess I hung a brush or something. Even with pulling off to have a buddy try and pop my brushes I still finished 2nd on the same lap with the leader. Car has some really good corner speed. I got a few things to work on but out of the box I was super impressed.

I put my car down for the first time with the Xray whites (17.5 lb) and it was fast. I ultimately was faster with the Xray yellows though. I probably am not the person to mimic though since I am just now learning how to drive a spool. I kept overshooting my corners

Dave that is cool. My first runs on the car was pretty close to the kit setup and now I have been running a little different setup but the car seems to respond to my changes (good or bad) I notice the little changes I make.

The AE's are a bit heavier-14.5 (i beleive)- than the shuie's, I have them f/r and I like the car on asphalt.

Have any of you tried going to the outside hole on the rear hub? I know it was talked about on carpet....not sure if anyone has tried it yet on rubbers

The only problem I have with the AE's is the inconsistancy. They tend to differ alot from spring to spring. Might sound wierd but we always issue tweaking the car on scales for carpet, switched to Xray and it was right on the money just about every time.

I still plan on trying them though....
