Tractionroll,
Try it the way I sent it to you first, that setup won the A in stock its first and only day out... TRC Purple rears and Plaid fronts and you should be close. IF anything you might want to make the car a bit more aggressive for a high traction carpet track, Bruckner (the track I raced at) is medium grip at best.
If you want it more aggressive try hooking up the rear swaybar or reducing the rear toe-in a bit. The car should be pretty nice as it is though.

I sent the car to you set up the way I ran it... I didn't change anything except to replace the chassis and I installed the titanium lower hingepins.
Unless you're running on a very grippy carpet track I think you'll like the way the car drives as it is now. If you're on a very grippy track you'll probably want it to be more aggressive.

It's a genuine JRP product (Jesse's Racing Products ;-)
My Sanwa-ERG-XS servo was too small to fit to the standard servo posts, so I had to make one. I've always liked the one-piece design anyway. I had a similar on my Axis too.

And some other parts that make the car turn 0,0s faster laptimes...

That servo strap is cool lookin'. How'd you make it?

We have a table-top drill at work, with a feeding table. That is not far from a milling machine practically is you just purchase some milling bits for it. After machining I always anodize the parts to make them stronger, especially the threads. Anodizing is quite simple and fun to try at home if you're interested. Here's a good link.
If someone plans to make a similar servomount, you have to be carefull because there is not much room for it. If you look at my Mission (the picture was posted somewhere earlier) the part needs to be really thin in a coulpe of places, especially over the servo. You also need to be carefull with the copyright laws ;-)

Just got the new upper deck, feels like it may well make the car quite a bit stiffer and so help on high bite tracks. I shall hopefully get the chance to try it out this weekend.

Yes, when the traction comes up, a stiffer chassis makes the car more nimble. The car also carries it's speed better through the corner and even help prevent traction rolling. You can not achieve the same with harder springs/roll-bars.

Hey Dave!
Have you looked at the droop on your car? I have found that the amount of droop will affect how much a car can roll thru a corner. A car that rolls to much will eventually traction roll. Reduce the amount of droop both front and rear and Think you will see the problem go away. Just food for thought.
