The track (superior hobbies) that the state race is at IS corally USA. All the parts come from this therefore there is an unnatural number of Corally cars at our local track. Not to mention that most of the people that agree to drive corally get half off parts. So you can imagine.

So if you buy an RDX and race at Superior you get a deal on parts? had no idea. i assume this applies to regulars that buy the kit.

I will say this much though, the cleanest racers (imho) are made up of the Mi2 guys. Not sure if it's the vibe or what but everyone running schumacher seems to really keep it clean and fast. gotta love that....It's alittle underdog compared to the corally usa thing but shuie drivers really do lay down some quality racing

You can't use the springs that are for the standatrd Mi2 shocks. They're far too long. The pro springs are 25mm long.

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone has a decent outdoor, asphalt, rubber tire, oneway setup??? Or if you can make any suggestions for a oneway setup???

Thanks in advance.

I've only liked the oneway indoors at SoCal. Outdoors it's always been too twitchy and hard to drive. I've got a really good setup I think for SoCal that you can try outdoors. It's never been tested there but it may be worth a shot. The first thing I'd do to it to run outdoors is go one rate lower on the springs. Drop me an Email (jkerr0043@cox.net) and I'll send it to you. It's on an Excel setup sheet I have.

If you're running the regular MI2 try my set up on www.gearchart.com I haven't run a oneway on the EC as of yet.

1.8. That will be the 20 tooth center pulley. That's what we all run.

Sounds too stiff. The car will bounce around all over. Go one step softer on the springs. If it feels too sluggish, try 35 wt. oil to get it to respond quicker.

No there's no center oneway option and not really any need for one. The heaviest spring I run on asphalt at SoCal (high bite) is the Schuie Pro green. (17# I think) If your springs are too stiff the car won't have any grip. Being that the track is bumpy, leave the 40 wt oil as that will absorb some of the bumps and go to a softer spring. I'm not sure what the old springs are, but if you get the Pro springs, go with whites all around or maybe blue in the front and whites in the rear.
