Yes. When you move the wheelbase spacers the big change is that you are actually moving the weight closer to one of the axles. i.e if you move the front wishbones back, you are putting more weight over the front axle.

As far as using the notches go, you need to use 2 allen drivers to support the towers. One from teh front, and one from the rear. Hope that makes some sense.

The car will rotate more. It'll gain steering and the rear will rotate around better.

If all the shims are in the right position, there will be no problem with it rubbing.

Default HELP!!!

Just wondering if any of you guys are having any problems with 'chewing up' spur gears??? For some reason, I cannot workout why my spur gears (regardless of the brand, RW, Kimbrough, Precison, Robinson Racing) are not spinning true when mounted in the car?

I have made sure that the layshaft is not bent, checked the layshaft assembly with housings by itself (no spur attached) and everytime it spins true and correct. As soon as I attach a spur no matter of type, it spins in an elipitcal fashion.

I dont have a standard EC spur to try. But the only things I can think of that could be causing an issue, would be the spur gear adapter (mounting holes) or the centre pulley (as I have cut out the necessary clearance grooves for the aftermarket spurs).

Can anyone help me out??? I have spent way too many hours trying to get my spurs to spin true and correct!!!

Also, I was wondering what you guys ran as far as spurs were concerned?? (original Ec spurs or aftermarket ones)

Thanks in advance,

Leonard.

We kind of need to know what you want it do. What's the car doing that you don't want it to do or vise varsa?
