Would I have to pick you and the little one up....

Im not sure yet if I will race both, I have a lot to get done with the points and the prizes and such I dont think that there will be enough time to run 12th scale and sedan as much as I would like to....so it looks like I will only race 12th scale this weekend. I wish I had this car for the whole series. At the ROAR regional at the end of the month I will race the EC....and I will help out Euge with his car this weekend...any chance that you will be able to make it up to Trackside for the Finale???

I haven't run one of the CO27's but according to Eric (EAMorotsports) they're a very good motor with lots of torque. They need to be geared way up from where you'd normally gear a stock motor. I think he's recommending 3-4 teeth higher for starters.

I've run both, only prob with the KOS is the availability of brushes for the EVO30 hood (right now none avail), the Cobalt just plane rips, I am running 27 / 89 on the EC at SoCal and it has tons of bottom and pulls all the way down the straight. Use Red / Green springs, F brushes w/ hole in face. Jon may not believe it but I even pulled Taka down the straight. Word KOS is OK, but the Co27 is way better. This will be the motor to run in anything stock on and off-road.

I will be trying one of the KOS27's this Sat. I should have some feedback for you. From what I was told the new motors (all of them) need to be geared to the moon. I mean some of the guys running the new Atlas 19's went from 27-29mm roll out to 32-36mm. Thats a huge jump in gearing. I was running 32/116 with 57mm tires with a monster...I will let you know where I end up with the KOS.

I've heard that before with an Integy Matrix V10 pro-stock 'Hi-RPM' motor, when I tried it it was no faster than my tuned Monster.

I stuck in into my old Tekin dyno and it had almost identical results to the Monster.

Since I don't run stock I don't know from first hand experiance, but I know I've heard of a few guys running them at SoCal that normally gear a Monster based motor @ 7.0-7.3 and they're running their CO27's (and liking them better than the Monster) in the 5.9-6.0 range.
