Default MISSION TRANSPONDER MOUNT

This is a template for my transponder mount for the Mission. It fits on the front body posts, the best position I could think of. I recomend that you print the image onto something sticky like masking tape (if that'll go through your printer) and then sticking that onto your material and cutting it out along the lines. I think most materials would work but recomend sheet Carbon Fibre or plastic. Before you go too far check that the dimensions remain accurate once printed.

Has anyone found a way to trade some of the barbaric turn-in of their mission for some more exit steering? I've got some ideas to play with on friday but maybe you could save me some time?

Default My Mission Transponder mount

I am not too sure about this posting pictures thing but i will give it a try. Anyhow this is an Associated graphite Transmission brace for the RC10Gt ( i think) I made no modifications except for countersinking the 2 holes for screws (it fits right on bulkhead with upper bumoer and screws) and I also mage the hole where transponder was to be put bigger. Hope this works. If not I will put on the web and link to it.

FoamD....I started out with 2.28 dia and raced with 2.25 dia.

The carpet topdeck is U2488 and the back orders are being filled. We should have full stock in a week or two's time.

Foamdonuts: I know you want to support your local shop. But, why not just order your Mission and extras direct from SchumacherUSA.(they do credit card, mail-order, and COD) You can always come back to the local shop and order any additional parts that you may need. So you can give them some business, but not have to wait to get you kit.

Default Cornerspeed

Hey Cornerspeed...sorry I missed your post...we left for Florida early am last Wed (2/6), so I didnt see your post and pass the info along to Toastie or Ron...wasnt ignoring you, Dood...just didnt catch it before we left.

Toastie and Ron both did really well, and we had an all-out blast in the process...This was my first BIG race....never realized what an effect sleep deprivation has on your driving...its more of an endurance contest than anything else...

The SChumacher showed extremely well...and Superior Hobbies, who had a great shop set up at the races, sold all they brought after the mains on Sunday...

You guys that are trying Ron's setup...drive smooth in the corners. If you go into a corner hot and throw the car into it, it will traction roll. If you don't share Ron's experience and smooth driving ability, try the inside hole on the shock tower instead of the number two hole...will help calm the traction roll tendency...otherwise its a great setup...fast in the corners. I was using the AE red springs on the rear instead of copper, and laid the shocks down one hole...otherwise same setup...

Yea I will find out this weekend how protected my front is...anyhow i think my mount looks pretty sweet. The weave on the top deck is the same and looks like it belongs there. If anyone is interested in one like it I can see if I can dig up the part number for it.

Default Part #

I found the part number for it, I had to dig to find my receipt. Anyhow it is ASC6593 and it is an RC10 Stealth Graphite brace. It was 5 bucks
