hey guys orderd some diff rebuilds and a r12 belt some other little things for my mi2 and was wondering how long does it take for schumacher to send the stuff out?? i live in australia and ive been told 2 to 3 weeks is that bout right its just i want my new radio and he parts to arrive at the same time. lol i took the plunge and orderd a m11 with a airtronics digital servo thats good for .06 sec transit and about 115 oz of torque. still i little worried i havnt even got to hold a m8 or m11 no one in my area runs them its all futaba hopefully i might break the mould. any way let us know how long it should take roughly, thanks

Unfortunately I had that problem too but all I did was cut cown a bodyclip to size cos I couldn't find a part number either! I did contact Schumacher UK and Chris Ashton recommended stripping down the shaft, greasing it and then threadlocking the grub screw back in (aparrently its this being a little loose that causes the pin to vibrate, snap and come out!) but he couldn't give me a part number either.
Anyway, its seems to have solved the problem, I've not had one break since.

HiH

ran 2 whole meetings with it so far and no problems so seems fine! Funnily enough it only seemed to happen on my left rear shaft?!?! but since greasing the little cylindrical componedn in the centre and threadlocking the grub screw all have given me no problems at all.
Best of luck

Paul

Is your inventory "online" in your e-commerce site? i.e. if I got an order confirmation, is everything on it in stok?

The pins for the driveshafts are in the needle rollers bag (U1633).

The website send a confirmation that the order has been placed and the order generally ships next business day if it is via UPS. USPS picks up too early for us to get post order out that fast.

I am very interested in getting a mi2ec and have a few questions:

1. Is there a rear toe adjustment? (inboard or outboard)?
2. Is there a front inboard toe adjustment?
3. By having only 2 camber link positions on the shock tower, does that limit the 'tuneability' of the car?
4. What size is the standard spur? (and what would you use in 64dp?)
5. What size drivers are needed?
6. What springs and roll bars come standard with the car?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks adrian so all i need is a pk of them?

dirtydog ther is plenty of ajustment on the car.im not sure how u ajust the rear toe tho (i have got the car but dont think u can) and for drivers all u need is a 2mm for all screws on the car. and a 2.5mm for droop screws.

1. Is there a rear toe adjustment? (inboard or outboard)?
Every time we go to anything other than the 2 rear toe, we always go right back to it. Same with the camber link positions.

2. Is there a front inboard toe adjustment?
No there isn't.

3. By having only 2 camber link positions on the shock tower, does that limit the 'tuneability' of the car?
Many of the current cars only have one location w/ vertical studs and you can adjust the height only. We've found putting the inner camber link anywhere other than directly over the hinge pin gives inconsistent handling.

4. What size is the standard spur? (and what would you use in 64dp?)
Not 100% sure. Haven't got my car in yet. I belive the biggest 64p gear that you can use is 118, maybe 120.

5. What size drivers are needed?
2mm for the hex screws, 2.5 for droop screws, 1.5mm, .050", 7mm for the wheel nuts. I think that's all.

6. What springs and roll bars come standard with the car?
The rubber tire car comes with the white springs (what the majority of the setups we've been running on asphalt use) and the silver sway bars.

1. Is there a rear toe adjustment? (inboard or outboard)?
Jon is right on. The rubber car comes with 2deg and that is all we ever seem to run everywhere we go. You can get a set of U2450 plastic suspension mounts and they will let you hit 1.5 deg and 3 deg. However, like I said, we never run those.

The Foam car comes with 1.5 deg toe out of the box

2. Is there a front inboard toe adjustment?
No

3. By having only 2 camber link positions on the shock tower, does that limit the 'tune ability' of the car?
What Jon said

4. What size is the standard spur? (and what would you use in 64dp?)
48P 89T. You can run up to 118T in 64P

5. What size drivers are needed?
1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm hex drivers and M3 (5.5mm) and M4 (7mm) nut drivers. This is what you use on all metric cars

6. What springs and roll bars come standard with the car?
K058 Mi2EC - 2pr White (14lb) springs and front and rear silver sway bars (1.2mm)
K059 Mi2EC Foam Spec - 1Pr Violet (27lb) and 1Pr Red (20lb) springs and a front Yellow (1.7mm) sway bar. No rear bar as you never use one on foam tires.
