I agree the gold collars are too loose for my liking, would have preferred they have an oring inside as previous versions had.

My team mate ran the standard gold collars and reported no problems with adjustments changing..

I ran some original Mission collars to be safe. (shorter flange than mi2 ones, with an o-ring inside).
I switched to some Tamiya collars on my EC.....In one run I had one of my Gold collars move almost all the way up but that was only once out of about 15 packs put through the car. I went with the Tamiya ones later on just to make sure that nothing moved during a run.

P-dub, sounds like something you may want to work on Machined aluminum collars w/ o-ring

Recieved my EC on Friday, thanks guys. I Tqd and won our first club race of 2k6 with it in pretty much box stock form. Schumacher did a great job with the new kit, assembly was much faster than before. I broke a CVD pin on race day but didnt have a problem with the spring collars moving. If you put a little rubber CA on the threads they should tighten up enough. Cant wait to see the Foam version of this beauty!!!
I Realized my 64pRW's dont fit on the EC without modification. Are the newer RWs like the one included or do we order EC specific now?
Sorry if this was posted recently but I couldnt find EC setup sheets, blank or full. Is everyone just editing the older ones, Thanks!

yeah, the new ec car was awesome out of the box with a near pw-vegas setup on it. i spent most of the first day getting my car to work (which is basically an ec car anyway), and the second day of practice i ran the new car. it had more steering, which is a good thing. i just couldn't get it to look as smooth as mine with the first few changes i made, so i decided to save that for another time. believe it or not, i think the ec car had more cornerspeed than mine.

i am stoked that schumacher is back in the a-mains here, with a solid car on carpet. well, at least in the hands of mere mortals anyway, as we all know teemu is superhuman. so we represented in stock and pro-19. pw, you didn't hold up your end of the bargain for mod.

thanks to pw and the schumacher guys this weekend. it was a pleasure to meet those of you for the first time. i appologize for not showing up to race on sunday. seems i left my last can of driver back at the hotel. great job to all of you this weekend. it's only going to get better.

Chris can you send me the setup you started your EC with on the Parma tires? I want to give that a shot at home along with some other stuff on our similar gooey carpet . Thanks.
