Back in front of a computer again. Thanks for all your tips!

Found myself testing the car at a totally different track today, super tight and narrow with loads of grip.

I've still got some issues with the car, though thicker oil (ended up with 40wt front and 45wt rear) did help a lot, the general balance still needs improving. The car is a bit oversteery. And I found myself with a similar setup to the base "out of the box setup".

One thing that really got me thinking, whilst I was suffering from quite a bit of oversteer and started looking at some old setups like Teemu's winning setup from this summer and his setup from the carpet wars. I was on 23.5-23.0 mm droop while I've never seen Teemu using less than 24. This gets me thinking how it's possible to get proper rear grip, does the new rear end geometry do the trick? Or am I missing something?

By the way the new shocks are superb! Real smooth and easy to rebuild.

Too flexible of a wheel can give an inconsistent feel and are susceptible to warping/bending badly in a crash. A more rigid wheel will be more consistent and allow the tire and insert to do their job, but be careful which ones you use. Some can be brittle and break easily. I've used and liked the Schumacher Rev-Lite wheels, Yokomo Precision wheels, and the Xenon wheels. The RP wheels the premounts come on seem to be good as well I'll be trying the Speedmind wheels at SoCal soon. Stay away from the cheap wheels. Ofna sells a 8 pack of wheels through Hobby People for $6 or $7 but they're crap. They break really easily. I ran them one time right when I started racing and after a single tap on the boards that wouldn't normally do anything, it broke the center out of one wheel.

Jon: Pretty good thanks. How are things other side of world?

Wirre: I hardly never use more than 24mm rear droop and 25mm front droop. (I feel that car comes lazy and difficult to handel if I use more)
Just try to play with droop and keep at least 1mm different between front and rear.
