See I knew I wasn't weird. Just you Jon....LOL We do turn our 767's into 769's with the cavity hole.

That's so odd. I've never had anything but good results with them.

I can tell you that F brushes don't work for me until the 3rd run. I recently started to break them in for MIN 30 minutes. I then skim the com to clean it and install. I have found that the more I run them the better they get but they take much longer to break in

That's weird; the motor EA did for me in the 19Turn A main at the Nationals had F-Brushes

anything you run is fast.

if you have to break in a brush for 30min then forget it. Give me my 4499's and I'm cool.

Thats the funny thing, I started breaking in everything the same way and guess what....RPM went up, Power went up and brush wear was better. I really believe so many people are brainwashed into 1 or 2 runs and done. Most people are throwing brushes out that havent even been seated yet. The problem is everyone overheats the new brushes after 2 runs. Wouldn't you like to be able to run a motor for 12-15 runs without thinking about the motor and STILL maintain the same speed? Don't take my word for it. Pick one of your own motors and experiment. I put a monster on the Motor master AFTER it had 15 runs on it and it pulled 37600 with over 8 amps. I will take that any day. If I can't compete with that then its more than likely my driving or batteries.

It's your driving Bob!!! Just jokin!!
I agree with Bob the F brush takes a longer brake in time. But we are still using the original batch. I have had no luck with the new batch of F brushes. I went back to running 767 and 4499. I am waiting on the new "X1" brush from eXpress now and I will let you know the results.

Here is another vote for not liking the F brush. I have officially given up on them too. I probably have the wrong batch. I hear there are like 6 different version of the F brush.

Hate to break the news to you guys but F-brushes work....The 2nd batch was the only batch to suffer from any deffects and that occured because of a error at the brush factory.

Check most of the guys running stock and 19 turn at MOST major races and that is what has been in the top motors....even Factory guys who have been running 19 turn have ben using the F-Brush......Barry, Ralph, Dumas......

Oh and Tony...I ran the F's at the last race in both classes...seemed to work for me!! LO!!!

That might have been the reason for problems I had with them. I have a few that will put a layer of carbon on the com and the motor will stop running or get really slow.
