Default REDIAL :)

I got through today and once yesterday, but when I tried to call back yesterday it was busy for HOURS!!!! Better hop to get through today or you won't reach them until after the Snowbirds and that means no parts until Monday Keep trying is my only advice !!!!

Default moving from axis to mission

I currently race on carpet with an axis and will be ordering a mission tomorrow. How will my axis set-up differ to my mission set-up? my current axis set-up is:

Front:
1 deg neg camber
10 deg caster
0 deg toe in
yellow schu springs
80 weight oil
1 hole open in the piston
shocks in most upright position

Rear:
1 deg neg camber
zero anti squat
2 deg toe in
red schu springs
80 weight oil
1 hole open in piston
shocks in upright position

General:
jaco green foams all round with TQ purple additive on all the rear and half the front.

How would i adjust this set-up to work with my mission?

Ian.......you might want to try your setup first and see how things go. I know when I got my Mission my old Axis set up did not work at all. One thing that you will notice is how much steering the car has right of the board. Good luck with the new ride.

Corey they look sweet but they are heavy but they add a little something to the car in the looks dept.

Hey Guys I was told that Schumacher USA would be open all week during the Snow Birds. I guess Robin is going to be running the office and getting product out to people. So there might be only one man in the office so just give him time Im sure he will help ya out.

Hey Racer X and others thanx for the tips. What do you all think about running the stock swaybars on a high traction asphalt track, is it necessary. I,m going to try the 20 tooth pulley, the lower upper arm pos., and the in-line hubs that you all suggested. I,m really curious about those sway bars. I took 2nd at my local track and my MISSION was the star of the show 1st time out it produced repeatable results. Lots of room for improvement!!! Hasta!!!

Adrian et al, I have decided to go with the Carbon Mission. Now, I need an Ozite foam tire, Mod Sedan setup for it. I run plaid jaco fronts and purple jaco rears trued down to 2.275 to start with. Please post setups here. Thanx, and I cant wait to get my new car. I just figured that I havent seen or heard of one single Mission for sale yet, and everyone of you guys cant shut up about how great they are, I just had to get one. Does anyone know if Steve Wang(Speedtech RC) will be getting the hop-ups in? I wanted to order the threaded shock bodies and the screw kit and stuff when I order the kit from him.

Default Carpet Setup

Foam Donuts:
Go with PW's carpet setup that he used in Cleveland, it was posted by Adrian a few pages back in this thread. It's an awesome setup. Get the competition swaybars and the threaded shocks, you really won't need anything else. BTW, use the 20t pulley. If you have any questions about the setup, let me know, I run on ozite with foams, purple rears, plaid fronts and my car is dialed!

Default Swaybars

Doggs_03
Yeah man, you're gonna need those swaybars if your track is high traction!

Default In line hubs

Anyonw using inline hubs? If so What turnbuckle did you change to? I tried it w/out knowing stock was too short and my rear arm split. Paul W said I needed to use longer turnbuckles, well the ones he sent me don't look to be much longer. the part number is L428 Ti Turnbuckle 4x28mm. I this the correct one? Thanks Oh and BTW I also thought everyone was using 17t pulley EXCEPT on LARGE tracks!!

Wilson....I have split the upper a-arms on the axis but not on the Mission yet with them in the inline pos. Its b/c you hit something and they break right there on the back side of the upper a-arm. If you dont run in-line then the arm does not break but the tie rod might snap...Have had this happen too. They are working on changing the mold and putting more material around the threads of the upper a-arms so this does not happen as much. They did change the mold when they went to the new upper a-arms on the mission but its still not enough.

I like the 20t pulley better.....the drive train feels much better with it installed then the 17t. Also with the 17t pulley the car just seems to spool up and never run down the straights on like a 75ft. or more straight.
