Thanks for that info Jon Kerr.

I assume the Teemu front tower will come with the EC?
Just wondering.... Why does the carpet car get a lower CG? Wouldn't that be an advantage to the std car too?

And congrats to PW.

The whole EC is Teemu everything. The whole point of the EC is to let racers buy a car identical to Teemu's. The only thing we left out were Ti screws...because we didn't want it to sell for over $500...lol!

The EC doesn't really have a much higher CG. The diff risers are mainly there to change the drive shaft plunge into the out drives and thereby get more traction. The slightly higher CG also gets you more traction. This is really good for asphalt racing on low traction tracks (thats where a lot of you race).

If you race on a high bite asphalt track or on carpet with rubber tires you have the option of removing the risers and having a lower diff height and CG.

The EC will let you tune you setup for a wider variety of conditions than any previous Schumacher sedan.

Hey, I heard from a little birdy. that the EC won't be hitting canadian soil till around FEB. I'm not to sure for the US. I'm not in a hurry as were in 12 scale season in Victoria . We don't go outside till April or may. So I can wait.

Oh hey congrat to PW. way to go.

The report from Carpet Wars was that Kev Brunsden had a production kit to build. If it went together OK with no flaws than it would be shipped immediately to suppliers for delivery to people who pre ordered. There would be no surpluss for people wanting to buy "off the shelf". The rumour mill was working overtime!
Modelsport UK has changed their web page to show it as out of stock so who knows! Their release date was today.

WOW...Busy thread over the weekend!

Thanks everybody, the Florida State Series is awesome and we are so lucky here in Florida

TJ!!! Where's TJ!!!!

The EC release has been delayed a few times due to a couple of items not passing QC, but like Jim said "I'd rather wait an extra week for Schumacher to get it right." Kits should be going together end of the week for next week shipping

Can we count on some of the team guys to post their EC setup sheets by the time the car is released? Or would that be asking too much?
