Yeah Tony's car was unmatched for the most part on Sunday except for the error bits here and there so apparently that setup works. I tried the first setup from PW which i liked a lot but i fell victim to a broken servo which i didnt figure out until it was too late. Speaking of which, does anyone know if there are replacement cases for the Airtronics 94757? Both mounting holes on the left of my servo gave away. :-( I have yet to have a good day at superior :-(

Since its looking like I will have to replace my servo in order to race anytime sone, i was wondering what servo's are you guys favoring nowadays? As previously mentioned I have a Airtronics digital 94757 speced at:

115 oz. of torque @ 6v.
.07 seconds @ 60 degrees
Coreless motor
All metal gears
Dual ball bearing blah blah blah

Really like it but now its gone for now.

Servo cases can be replaced by either you or you can send it to Airtronics for repair. I'm using the Airtronics 94360.

I use the 94357. Never had one problem. The one I have in the car now is probably 3 years old and still going strong.

I'd go for the standard car. You race on two surfaces that would suite that car better. You could always get a stiffer top deck and maybe the stiffer chassis when you go to race on the rug. In all honesty, most guys I know who race both carpet and asphalt have two cars because the setups are so completely different. But I know that's not always feasible.

If you are using rubber tires on both surfaces, then go with the standard EC car
