Hey AdrianM,

Do you have any idea when the EC will be released??

Also, it says narrow hex's are included, is that in addition to standard ones or instead of?? And are all sway bars included??

Thanks
Iain

What about the diffs? One of my pain points is the out drives on the diff. They seem to tear up mutch faster than i can replace the blades. Will the EC have a new design to the outdrives? Maybe rounded edges or reinforced materials? Maybe we can get someone to machine some new ones like Troy's :-) Wishful thinking hu?

Donny and I have been making outdrive savers out of the inner race from old outdrive bearings for a while now and haven't hurt and outdrive since. Just take an old dead bearing, cut the outer race off it with a cut off wheel. The inner race will pop out and slide the inner one over the outdrive once the spool is installed. Use a very small drop of CA to hold it in place on the outdrive.

Car is really good. Haven't been able to put too many runs on it due to employment issues and needing to replace some electronics. Car now has the JMO carpet setup on it and just waiting to buy a new reciever and then its carpet season!!

What type of receiver are you looking for? I have a KO 27 band and a 75 band. Let me know.

The car was killer yesterday. I came up with my own set up and it was pretty killer. I just need to get more corner speed out of it. I had plenty of ponies though. Pulled Aaron down the straight Tested tire's and bodies yesterday and the G6 is pretty killer. The proto form alpha is also nice. Gotta worry about these RDX's now. Aaron was on fire and Charlie looked good as well. Next weekend will be more testingfor the regionals.

I take it the new car will not have the adjustable battery tray ? If not will the battery location be in the same location between the 2mm and 2.5 mm chassis?

Jon - I saw those on your car at Vegas, thats a cool idea. The only thing is can you pop those off if you need to take the bearing off the outdrive? Then just CA em back on? Blades sure wear even faster when your spool outdrives spread . Thanks.

Car - There is no tray on the EC or battery strap, we've found the tray and battery straps can tweak your chassis (tape can to, but it wont if you dont strap it like a cave man) and besides those add weight . I presume the battery position will be the same (middle) on the 2mm and 2.5mm chassis.

You running foam? I need some foam setups to start with when I get back from nats. I'll be starting with PW's Vegas setup but I want to look at what other drivers are running.
