I at least try to have put on for at least 30 minutes. 40 minutes would be ideal. Then wipe it off before your race. You can also use BuggyGrip2 to clean your tires right after you run. I have been doing that. I also have been using warmers on the tires for about 5 minutes to bake the tire sauce in.

This coming week in Vegas will be my first time on carpet so I don't have anything right now. Hopefully after next week, we'll have something really good for you.

www.gearchart.com Mo's set up for the race in January was with a BMI chassis. That is the set up that we are going to start the carpet season out with. In fact....Mo is testing this same set up at a different carpet track today. We have the region 12 carpet race coming up so he's just getting a jump on it for us Schuie guys.

So this basically mean I just have to wait until something breaks from the chattering?

No. The CVD's will wear in slightly and will be able to absorb the chattering a little. Like Adrian posted, all cars do it. It's just not noticeable when you're running a diff or one-way. Just continue to run the car and it will gradually lessen.

Does anyone have any pics/comments of the current BMI chassis/upper-deck/towers? Also - does the price on the BMI site include chassis/upper-deck/towers or just the chassis?

Thanks

I believe the price on the web site is the chassis and top deck. Yo can choose between the solid deck for carpet or the flex deck that's used more for asphalt. I'm not sure what the towers go for. The new tower design is awesome. They were slotted which gave ultimate adjust-ability but it was kind of difficult to get both sides exact. Now they indexed so that you have more adjust-ability but it's easier to get right. The chassis is top notch as well. It's much more narrow and balances everything much better. With everything moved closer in it allows it to change direction much quicker. Absolutely worth the investment.

If they don't specify any shims under, I'd say yes, flat on the chassis. That would normally give a LOT of steering. I've tried that once and it was way too agressive but that was on asphalt. Could be totally different on carpet. I'll find out in a few days
