The BMI chassis kit is $110 USD. I'd think for carpet that'd be more important than the lowered towers. Save up for a little bit. I'm not sure how much the BMI towers are.

Racing went okay this past weekend. The MI2 had the TQ in mod sedan for a quick second. Wound up 2nd on the grid for the main. Tire selection was key in the main. Made the mistake of switching tires for the main and it hurt the performance of the car a little but the car was still in the hunt for the win. Had plenty of Br00d horse power (10x1) that made up some time on the straight that was lost on the infield due to the drifting the poor tire choice caused. Lap traffic did me in mid way through and I never recovered after that and made too many little mistakes trying to make up the time. The car is dialed and I can't wait until the regionals in a couple of weeks. This car is AWESOME!!!!!!!

PW- The bumper came in handy again during practice. Thanks for an excellent product.

Especially if you're running a spool, you should upgrade to either the steel or the TiR Worlds Aluminum. They're a little expensive, but really worth it. Also if you're running a spool, stock up on some blades for the CVD's. The front ones will need to be replaced after about 4 runs or so with a spool. The rear should be fine for a long time.

On the site the blades are 7.99 is that for the pair? Also does it matter if you put steel driveshafts in the rear also or will the plastic ones do?

Blades come in packs of 8, and that price I guess is cheap compared to xray . The plastic bones should do fine in the rear in stock and 19t, I haven't tried them in mod though. But I'm guessing they would be ok even for mod in the rear.

The plactic ones work ok in mod, they do twist a little, but I had a set work for me for almost a year.

Cool I race primarily 19T and broke one drive shaft Saturday 3rd round of qualifying. Just got the car so I have no spares yet. I will get them from Schumacher or is it better to go somewhere else?, never ordered from Schuie...

I've used plastic driveshafts since the car came out and never had any problems with them, i've never used a spool or one way so thats probably the reason but certainly 27t stock right thru to 10t mod has never been a problem for the plastic ones
