after a little break it's time to hit the track again. The last time I raced this event it cost me $2000 and I haven't been back since. The West Coast Shootout will have a MI2 in either the mod or stock main. I haven't decided what class I'm running yet. There isn't a 19 turn class offered. Stock might be the largest class at this event which should be the most fun so that's probably the class I'll run. Then again I still have all these killer mod motors to run.

PW- Did you get my text message?

Heck no.....she understands what's up. Give me a little more time and she'll be like Aaron's wife so I will never have to cut another motor

For everyone that runs 64 pitch,

why do you? As atm I am runnning 48, and I was thinking of going to 64, to get a smaller difference in ratio's, atm changing pinion by 1 tooth results in a 1.5mm change?

So I was planning on getting 2 or 3 spurs and a range of pinions. I race mod with 7-9 turn motors, what range do you think I should get??

I notice in Teemu's euro's winning setup, he was using 48 pitch?? Anyone know why he wasn't using 64??

Thanks
Iain

The TC4 has left the building! I just got my Mi2 last weekend and drove it for the first time on Sunday. I only got 2 packs in (one practice run, one qualifier) before the rain started, but the car was working great.

Toni - Are you running a BMI solid top deck or a normal one? The solid one is for Carpet and the car would be even better with a Schu standard or BMI narrow cut out top deck.
