BTW. The take off sunken washeres that the team guys use on the top decks; are they flat both on the bottom and top. Or flat just on the bottom or flat just on the top?

The Florida State Electric Auto Racing Association (FSEARA) has been racing for 22 years. Schumacher Sedans have won 5 out of the 6 years that a sedan championships have been contested. JR Mitch won the first 2 years (1998-SST98, 1999-SST99) Paul Wynn has won 3 times (2000-Axis, 2002-Mission, 2004-Mi2), Dave Vera has won twice (2001-MR-4TC, 2003-Mission).

For more history, points listings, etc, visit www.fseara.org.

The top 3 in Mod were:
1. Paul Wynn - Mi2
2. Troy Schaffer - Mi2
3. Tim Potter - Mi2

Tony Padilla won the 27T Stock Class (Mi2).

The drivers in the team pic are (L to R): Art Jensen - Mod Sedan Tim Potter - Mod Sedan, 19T Sedan Paul Wynn - Mod Sedan Steve McNichols - Mod Sedan, 19T Sedan Tony Padilla - Stock Sedan, 19T Sedan Troy Schaffer - Mod Sedan Adrian Martinez - Mod Sedan

Hey Jon let's start that here..CSEARA Especially if we get trophies that dang big
What's your opion on the difference between how different wind motors affect ones set up. In particular stock vers mod.. the dynamics of the moter can affect how a chassis reacts...right?
Thanks bro!

19t and stock carry more drag brake then a mod motor. Drag brake causes weight to transfer forward quicker also will make the car oversteer when going from mod to stock. Also when going from stock to mod you might get a car that pushes going in and loose on exit. Motors do have an effect on chassis handling, pending on the track and tires different things can happen.

Speed's pretty much got it covered. I always noticed when I ran stock and then mod that the car seemed very loose coming out of the corners with a mod. But then again, this was a couple years ago with a different car and I hadn't learned much for throttle control yet. No stock motors have, or probably will ever touch my Mi2. I have this thing about hating stock. 19 turn to mod, the car many times won't feel as free running a 19 turn compared to mod. Usually I'll set the car up for mod since that's my main focus and try and just drive it in 19 turn. You can be more aggressive in 19 turn so you don't really have to worry about watching your throttle control as much. If I were concentrating on 19 turn for a race I would probably try and tame the cars entry down and free it up on exit. But then again, it all depends on the track.

I run Mod at club races and 19T at State Series or Nationals. Mod makes you learn to control the throttle and gets you accustomed to seeing your car get around the track at Mach 2.

I dont run stock anymore, it's just too slow. Stock feels like a dumped battery all the time.

Exactly! Even 19 turn the last few times I've run it since I've been running mod only lately seems too slow.
