TC3: Try the 2d sweep setting and the inline hubs (outter hole on the hubs). The 2d in the front should give you more steering, but the 2d rear seem to give more stability, so run them both (but try them one at a time). Congrats on your A main qualifying, it's nly a matter of time for that A main win!

I raced my mission in 19Turn and this is the first time for running that class and i TQed in the A but ended up getting 2nd. The front one-way and the grey belts are exactly what that needed. The car had insane turning ability and tons of top end i thought that i was running an illegal armiture it was so fast. But so far i am loving the car

Believe me when i say that the front belt will not skip - period no matter how loose it is.

We have TakeOff alloy shims to take the play out of the diff but I ran mine all saturday w/o the shims and had no problems.

I qualified 2nd in the Stock A and 3rd in the Mod A at my local asphalt track this saturday. Stock was a demolition derby. I should have finished 2nd or 3rd but I ended up 5th. I did finish 3 rd in the Mod A. PW won Mod with his Mission. Jeff DuRocher won stock with a Mission also.

Not sure about the grey belts as I haven't tried them yet. I am sure I will get the scoop on them from the racers who have tried them next week.

Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got back from racing my Mission for the first time. I qualified 4 in the Mod A-main and finished 4th. Only three seconds sperated 2nd thourhg 5th postion during qualifing. Not bad for the cars first run. I got spun on the 2nd lap and went to the rear but came to within a half straight of thrid place. This was my set-up:

Front:
60wt oil
asc red spring
shock mount #3
inside on arm
5mm ride hieght
3.5mm droop
middle castor setting
swaybar
camber mounts up and in
1 deg. camber
1deg toe out

Rear:
60wt oil
asc red spring
shock mount #3
inside on arm
5mm ride height
5mm droop
swaybar
camber mounts up and in
1deg camber
middle wheelbase
2deg toe in

Tires: Take Off CS 22
Insert: Take Off med
Motor: Reedy Ti 10 double
Gear: 29/116
Drive pully: 17T

The car was planted but could have used a little more begining andmid corner steering. Next week I should be able to try a oneway.

Thanks Matt, is that the greys or black. Have to hope for the best. Adrian says they're the bomb for stock, and the front works great for mod too. Adrian? Any idea when the bumpers are coming in? I'm stuck out untill I get some.

I put my one way in the car and noticed a little excess play in the outdrives. I put one of the small silver spacers that went between the bearings in diff from the axis, on the right side shaft of the one way then put the small bearing then the outdrive on. This seems to work very good and I did this same adjustment on the oneway from the axis too. I like the way that the one made the car turn more comming out of the turn and in the middle of the corner.

I also used the bigger pulley 20t and the car felt like it did not come instantly up to speed, it was a smoother acceleration then with the 17t.

Adrian I will be calling you wednesday as UPS has had a SNAFU with one of my orders, and its on its way back to you guys.

Merry X-mas to all and happy holidays :

We finally finished laying down the carpet at Kinetix RC. We layed down some packs to test the carpet/layout. i ran the one way for the first 4 packs w/ Adrians carpet setup on the car. Then I put the front diff in and ran 2 packs . The car was alot better w/ the diffs. This might change once we get a better groove on the fresh rug, but right now the car has plenty of turn in w/ the diff, and is much more stable. The car is different to drive though, probably because I've been running a one way for 3 years now. I tried to get by w/ the grey belt in the rear w/ a 19 turn without any luck. After 3 packs it was skipping. Iwill get some more testing done on the 26th.

Racer X......... Have you got to play w/ any other carpet setups w/ the new car or w/ the one way?

Atomic: I went back to my A2 carpet setup and the car had more cornerspeed even with the diff in it. The one way didn't seem to add any more steering, just smoothed out the middle of the corner. I've noticed that the car must be driven differently, too. With all the steering and excelleration, it drives more like a 1/12th scale or a mod...take the shortest line between the two points. If you want my current setup, email me and I'll set it on.

AdrianM: Why don't they just come here? What they don't trust any info that doesn't have the RCCA logo over it?
