Are the new Schue springs progressive like the Associated springs? I might want to try them, but I don't really want to get another set of progressive springs as I dont really like them. Thanks.

@Mo,
Ok, sounds good! I'll give it another go.

@Matt,
Thanks, I will test cone-washers and see if anything changes, even though I'm a bit concerned with the tweakability that Adrian mentioned. Otherwise, why try to fix something that ain't broken?... Good luck at the race!

@Mini-dub,
My experience tells me that the new Schumacher springs are extremely "linear". There's quite a big difference in handling when you drive the car with them compared to the Associated/Tamiya springs.

thank you for the help.

does the kit come in pair or packs of 4? are those the treaded ones, or only clips?

pack of 4, threaded bodies, you may wanna get some tamiya shock mounts to make them right... TAM53599
is the top mount... you can use a bolt like normal... then use a schumacher ball cup cut off at that little 'dot' molded into the ball cup... cut it halfway though the 'dot' and you'll be dialed

Jonas, personally that hasn't been a problem for me. I have checked the car from time to time and it's generally exactly the same as when i built it. It's usually only when i have to take something off that i need to re-set everything.

Default Front bumper

I just replaced the front a-arms, carriers, and yokes...
is there a aftermarket wide front bumper..like the BRP one for TC3's?....I just ordered a Pdub bumper..but think I may need something stiff underneath of it to help reduce operating costs... as I bang the walls quite often

I'd like to confirm what Jonas has said regarding the new Schumacher springs..whilst using similar rates to the Associated Blue and Silver springs which many of us use, the car felt very different....

Im looking forward to spending next weekend testing the various combos to find what suits me...

Extremely impressed with the manufacturing standards on the new springs...all of my pairs are equal in length....and even across the range i noticed hardly any variation in static unloaded length...

awesome!

you won't need anything else once you get a P-DUB front bumper. I broke a Losi chassis a couple of weeks ago with the front of my car. That thing is rock solid.

We have these cars feeling pretty dialed on the rug with foams. I'm one more week or two of good practice time away from feeling totally comfortable on foams.

PW- You remember that chassis from the Reedy race????? I ran it yesterday without any problems what so ever. I have changed every piece of equipment used at the Reedy and it all worked pretty well yesterday.

We had a really good weekend in Dallas. I think we got a nice setup for the birds now. I held the TQ in expect stock for awhile. Ended up 4th in the main with some bad luck and help lol

I love this car. First weekend on it and I already feel like its the best car I've had on carpet.
