Hey Ben....It was great to meet you at the Novak Race! With the stock towers you will always have to use the clips along with the collars when using AE springs. If you put the lower carpet towers on and shorten your shocks 4mm, then you can use the AE springs without clips

Islandboy.....A tighter front diff will give more on-power steering, but less off-power. A loose front diff is the opposite....Never had any luck with a front diff on asphalt rubber tire.

Loose rear diff (spins smooth and free, but doesn't slip at all) gives more steering everywhere and always seems to be better. Tight rear diff makes the car push and never seems good...LOL

PW- I actually had the car running fairly well with a diff in front on outdoor asphalt this weekend. I broke an outdrive on my spool (it was pretty old) had to thrash so I put the front diff in and just ran it really tight. It ran quite well. Gave good on power steering with a little better mid corner than I had with the spool. Overall the car ended up pushing a little in the main but I think that was a little more of a tire issue than a diff issue.

Thanks. Well, I must say, that I find these pictures good, but they can be even better. Something like this, would really help: MI2 pics / review

Pictures sells products - especially, when it's a good looking car, like the MI2.

I'm kinda rushed getting mine ready. But when I have time to rewire it and get it cleaned up I'll post some pics. Brian has some very nice ones of his car on the BMI thread. Just looking at those will make you want the car.
